Most typical companies would be selling SugarPixel for double what we sell it for. We made the conscious decision to price SugarPixel as low as possible. This was so that it wasn’t out of the price range of anyone who may benefit from it just to be able to offer discount codes or sales at certain times of the year or to certain people. We have also made every effort to not have additional costs on unnecessary details. For example, the box is a plain white box rather than a more expensive printed retail box. By taking these steps, we can keep our cost as low as possible to provide a lower purchase price.
To phrase this differently: in order to offer discounts to some people, it would mean we are overcharging other people who don't get the sale price.
